Head of Paid Social – Job Spec

We need a ‘Head of Paid Social’ to lead and inspire our rapidly growing team to deliver first-class Paid Social acquisition campaigns! The successful candidate will have at least 4 to 5 years Digital Marketing experience including Paid Social, will be able to manage a growing team working on multiple briefs and have a willingness to go above and beyond. You will play a key role in leading Paid Social planning, execution and results analysis for a range of clients across multiple sectors.

As Head of Paid Social, you will lead with a hands-on approach across all areas of planning and delivery. Being able to manage multiple tasks is a must and to lead by example and show a willingness to go above and beyond is highly favourable. You will enjoy working in a busy environment and will be quick to learn and coach your team in an industry that is ever changing. You will be fully supported by and work under the guidance of the Head of Media.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on and create a range of Paid Social strategies for our clients
  • Manage and inspire a team of Paid Social practitioners to deliver award worthy Paid Social campaigns
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, tech partners and media owners
  • Leverage your experience of leading Paid Social campaigns and delivering positive ROI for well-known brands
  • Support Head of Media with Paid Social technology selection, implementation and process development
  • Excellent client service and team management skills
  • Work with other equimedia teams to develop client strategy


Key skills and qualities we are looking for include:

  • 3 to 4 years Paid Social experience with the ability to be both team leading and hands on
  • First class technical and strategic knowledge within the Paid Social sector
  • A passion for Paid Social and an appreciation of other Digital Marketing channels
  • Experience and confidence within team management
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable with data analysis
  • Strong problem solving, time management and prioritising skills
  • Good Excel and Powerpoint skills
